What is The Altar International House of Prayer, Tokyo?
The Altar IHOP, Tokyo is an intercessory prayer ministry based on the foundation of Isaiah 56.7 which states, “… for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
It’s a place where all believers, regardless of denomination, nationality or language, can come to pray, worship and discover more of God in the Spirit of freedom and in truth.
It is a house of worship. It is a house of prayer. It is a house of healing. It is a house of deliverance. It is a house of prophecy, vision and dreams. It is part of “the church” and not “a church.” It is a place that is dedicated to praying the reforming, transforming reality of the kingdom of heaven into the earth- with special focus on Japan and Asia.
Above all else, it is a body of believers determined to walk out the fullness of the first commandment as stated in Deuteronomy 6.5, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”
