We are a house of prayer located in the heart of Tokyo, Japan- literally the largest metropolis on the planet with over 30 million human beings. Our hearts desire is to see "all heaven break loose" in Japan & Asia through prayer, worship & intercession for the bride of Christ and for the region.
We hosted our first official prayer session as “The Altar IHOP, Tokyo” on November 5, 2008. We’ve been meeting weekly since then. Please take a look around our site for more information on how we came about, some of the vision for this house and to learn more about who it is we are and what we do.
ATTENTION
On March 11. 2001 Japan experienced one of the worst national disasters since WWII. We at The Altar are involved in the recovery & relief operation and will become more so in this next season. We both need and truly appreciate your heart to give in this hour as we press forward in building His kingdom.
