Our Big Sister House of Prayer
The Altar IHOP, Tokyo is a 3rd generation house of prayer and we are some of the fruit of their many long hours of prayer and worship. The Altar International House of Prayer is located in Meadville, Pennsylvania and was founded in 2000 by Senior Director, Dennis See.

House of Prayer for All Nations (HOPFAN)
In Summer of 2009, God began to knit our hearts together with the leadership of HOPFAN. After a July workshop on Harp & Bowl and Building the House of Prayer, we took a step further in that relationship and determined to walk out unity in the body of Christ.
We have been working together since then to build the House of Prayer in Japan by supporting each other as we go about building The Altar IHOP, Tokyo and the House of Prayer for All Nations.
This has truly become an embodiment of "all nations" as HOPFAN is largely Brazilian and Brazilian-Japanese while The Altar IHOP, Tokyo is a tribe heralding from the East and West. What perhaps amazes us the most about this unique partnership is that this is happening with two HOPs named as they are.
The Altar IHOP, Tokyo joined together with the House of Prayer for All Nations- JAPAN could Abba be telling us that indeed All Nations will gather together in His house of prayer per Isaiah 56.7.
